Men and women from throughout the Archdiocese of Vancouver, whether affiliated with a church or not, are invited to join Holy Rosary Cathedral and MOTET to sing for this project. We will be learning and rehearsing Mr. William Byrd's glorious music over six weeks in July and August, culminating with a Traditional Latin Mass on the Feast of the Assumption.
Rehearsals begin Monday 8 July. No auditions required, though some experience in reading music is recommended. Optional auditions may award some choristers with section lead scholarships and/or placement in the advanced schola. All music will be provided, and a nominal fee will be collected to cover costs.
